WEST BOUNTIFUL - You could start seeing some horses and goats grazing in new areas of West Bountiful, soon.
The city council is looking favorably on allowing limited grazing on some city-owned property, said City Administrator Duane Huffman.
That could include an area on 1200 North, known as the “old dump road,” as well as possibly in an undeveloped area near the Burnham Woods subdivision park area.
“In the past, there have been some problems” with grazing, causing the city to stop allowing it on city property, he said.
About three or four people have expressed interest in allowing the grazing for their livestock, Huffman said.
The council will probably take action on a resolution in one of its March meetings, he said.
