FARMINGTON  – A man accused of robbing the Bountiful Carl’s Jr., with his brother in December is going to trial May 15-16.

Jeremy Joseph Dool, 29, was in 2nd District Court last week where the trial date was set. A pretrial conference is set for April 16.

Jeremy Dool and his brother Jordan Matthew Dool were arrested on Dec. 18, 2013 and booked into the Davis County Jail for allegedly robbing the fast food restaurant at 195 W. 200 South in Bountiful.

They allegedly took cash from both the register and the safe and took four employees to the back of the restaurant and bound them with duct tape.

Witnesses told police they saw the two leave the restaurant and drive off in a red sports car, the court document said.

The witnesses followed the car and called 911, telling authorities  where the car was headed.

Police caught up with the pair on 2600 South. In addition to the brothers, there was a woman in the car,  according to the document She told police she didn’t know the brothers were going to commit a robbery and police let her go

After obtaining a search warrant, police allegedly found the masks and handgun used in the robbery in the car and the stolen cash.

Jordan Dool was also in court, but no trial date was set. A pretrial conference was scheduled for March 26.

They both remain in the Davis County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
