KAYSVILLE - Motorists traveling Kaysville's Main Street on Thursday, March 20, may find travel slow during the morning as Utah Department of Transportation crews take core samples from the road between U.S. 89 and 200 South.

The work is scheduled between 9 a.m.-noon, according to a department press release.

Similar work will be done in the afternoon on 1700 South between 2000 West and 4500 West in Syracuse from 1-4 p.m.

Crews will close one lane of traffic in the immediate vicinity of where the samples are being taken with flaggers directing traffic.

Motorists with time-sensitive travel may want to consider alternative routes.
