Jack Morse Jr. was born June 10, 1935 in Redding, California. He was surrounded by his family when he died March 23, 2014 in Bountiful. Jack was the son of Jack Sr. and Effie Elizabeth Morse. He married Ethel May Fowler on June 17, 1953 in Ketchikan, Alaska. With their young family, Jack and Ethel May found the truth they were seeking and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1963 with temple ordinances performed a year later in the Cardston Alberta Temple. He was a faithful member throughout his life.
He served as a medical Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. He was an award-winning general contractor in the construction industry.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, his children Robert Morse (Cheryl), Robin Haywood (Blake), and Ron Morse (Dianne); 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; siblings Betty Lou Phillips, DeMilt Morse, and Mildred Tippie; and his beloved furry kitty friend “Kiki”.
Funeral services were held March 25, 2014. Interment, Bountiful Cemetery.
