Braves beat Rams 3-1, move to second place in Region 6

The Bountiful Braves boys’ soccer team picked up their fourth region win last Friday, beating the Highland Rams 3-1.

The win earned the Braves three critical points, which helped them jump Woods Cross for second place before the rivals square off Friday afternoon.

The Braves scored a single goal in the first half and two more in the second half. Highland scored its only goal in the second half.

Carson Tinker led the Braves by scoring two goals in the win. Jeremy Burgin kicked in a goal as well.

Highland’s Matt Warne scored the Rams’ only goal.

Bountiful’s win snapped a short two game losing skid.
