Davis Business to Business Expo slated

KAYSVILLE – The Davis Chamber of Commerce will hold its sixth annual B2B (Business to Business) Expo on Wednesday, April 23 from 1p.m to 6 p.m. at the Davis Conference Center.

The conference center is located at 1651 N. 700 W. in Layton, Utah. Admission is free.

Dr. Matt Townsend will provide the keynote address at 1 p.m.

Townsend is the founder and president of the Townsend Relationship Center, a relationship skills-building organization. 

Matt trained for 9 years with the training industry leader Franklin Covey. He earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in the area of Communication as well as a second Masters degree in Human Development.  He has recently earned his PhD in the field of Human Development. Every Saturday morning from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Matt can be heard hosting his radio program, “The Matt Townsend Show”, broadcast on KSL News Radio, where he talks about a variety of relationship topics.  Matt is a weekly contributor to KSL TV’s morning show “Studio 5”.   Matt also has a weekday radio show on BYU radio on Sirius XM 143.

The Expo will feature over 80 booths from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. intended to help owners connect and grow their businesses. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn how to start a new business, network with local businesses, access community resources, sample food from local restaurants, and win a variety of prizes every hour. 

Key B2B booths and sponsors include: America First Credit Union, Davis Hospital Medical Center, Intermountain McKay Dee Hospital Center, Young Automotive Group, BioLife Plasma Services, Davis Applied Technology College, Davis Conference Center, Standard-Examiner, Salt Lake Tribune and Davis Clipper.

“The Davis Chamber is very proud of our Business to Business Expo. It is the premier Expo in Northern Utah, providing significant value to the vendors and the attending public. There is no cost to the public, but they will walk away with valuable information, not to mention prizes and food,“ said Davis Chamber of Commerce President Jim Smith.

The Davis Chamber of Commerce has approximately 347 member businesses, 847 individual members and represents all 15 cities in Davis County. Davis County is the third largest county is Utah, with an increase of 23.6 percent in population growth increase from 2003-2012.
