May 8

• Roll down your bobby socks and roll up your sleeves, Station Park is kicking off Cruise Night, featuring a classic and hot rod car show. The free family event will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the southeast parking lot of the shopping center in Farmington. Families will enjoy free games, activities, prizes and celebrity rock and roll DJ, J.C. Hackett. Cruise nights are held the second Thursday of each month through October.

May 9

• Antelope Island State Park, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Meet the park naturalist at 6:30 p.m. for a 2.5 mile one way (5 miles round trip) hike along the Lakeside Trail for a discussion of the history of Lake Bonneville. Meet at the Lakeside Trailhead (Bridger Bay Campground, site #8). Entrance fees apply.

• Davis County Health Department’s Family Caregiver Support Program is offering a six-week series of classes for individuals caring for family members who are older or frail. These classes are free to the public. Individuals may attend at any time during the series. Classes held Thursdays at the Golden Year Senior Activity Center, 726 S. 100 East, Bountiful at noon. A light lunch will be provided at all of the classes but attendees must RSVP by each Monday at noon to Megan at 801-525-5088.
