FARMINGTON — A man accused of being involved in multiple vehicle break-ins in North Salt Lake has entered not guilty pleas.
Troy Dalton, 45 was in 2nd District Court on Monday where he entered his not guilty plea to one count of third-degree felony burglary and six class A misdemeanor counts of vehicle burglary.
Police arrested Dalton on May 2. Dalton allegedly fled after a North Salt Lake Police officer said he saw Dalton break into a vehicle.
Angela Ford, 44, was also arrested in connection with the burglaries. She was found asleep in her vehicle near the area Dalton was apprehended, police said. They deduced that Ford was waiting to pick Dalton up. She was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
Dalton remains in the Davis County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail and a $25,000 warrant out of 3rd District Court on unrelated charges, according to court documents.
Ford is also charged with third-degree felony burglary and six counts of class A misdemeanor vehicle burglary. She has a court hearing on Friday.
