WOODS CROSS —Mountain America Credit Union has been named a LeaerningElite organization by Chief Learning Officer clomedia.com magazine.
It was singled out for creating and implementing exemplary workforce development practices that deliver measurable business value, a company press release said.
The credit union was ranked 46 out of more than 200 companies participating in the annual benchmarking program.
Mountain America was the only financial institution recognized with this award, said Suzanne Oliver, senior vice president of Educational Services and Governmental Affairs.
LeaerningElite is reportedly the only peer-reviewed ranking and benchmarking program developed in collaboration with chief learning officers and senior workforce development practitioners.
The credit union has Davis County branches in Centerville, Clinton, Layton and Woods Cross.
