KAYSVILLE - After a night in tents on campus grounds, Boy Scouts got a chance to work on engines and computers, do welding, soldering and cooking thanks to instructors at Davis Applied Technology College.

Some projects took two hours, others took four, but each of the classes gave Scouts a chance to earn merit badges.

This is the second PowWow held at DATC, according to Beckie Page of DATC, and more are being considered.

“It’s really fun,” said Nate Richardson as he worked on a merit badge in electronics. “It lets me explore career pathways.”
