Rosters released for Saturday’s All-Star Games

OGDEN — The 70th annual Utah High School All-Star Baseball Weekend will kick off Thursday, June 5.

The rosters for all four games (underclassmen, 3A, 4A and 5A classifications) were released by Ogden City Recreation Tuesday afternoon, and has several locals selected to their respective teams.

In the underclassmen game, being played Thursday at 7 p.m., State 4A champion Bountiful will have Parker DePasquale and Ben Fowers represent the Braves on the North team.

Kyle Eichmeier of Northridge and Kole Tracy of Syracuse were also chosen to play in the underclassmen game.

The 4A senior game will start Saturday, June 7 and will see Braves’ coach Clark Stringfellow in the dugout with two of his own players, Ryan Stringfellow and Ryan Curtis.

Shaden Fisher of Woods Cross and Parker Oliver of Clearfield will join Curtis and Stringfellow on the North team.

The 4A game will start at noon.

The 5A game will see Davis High’s Connor Blaisdell and Viewmont’s Isaac Evans play for the North team along side Northridge’s Robbie Vernon and Layton’s Caleb Harris and Quentin Marcelin.

Each of them will play for the North team, with the game starting at 3:30 p.m.

There will also be a Showcase All-Star Game, scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Admission to the game is $2 per person.
