Event is on June 20 at the Autumn Glow Senior Activity Center, 81 E. Center Street, Kaysville, 9 to 11 a.m. The Davis County Senior Medicare Patrol is urging seniors to fight fraud and reduce the threat of possible identity theft by properly disposing of documents at the event. Documents that should be considered for shredding include: Those with personal information such as your Social Security number; documents with personal information about your medical history; documents with your credit card information or credit scores and junk mail for credit card offers. This is also a way to help in detecting and reporting Medicare fraud.
