CLINTON — There are still no suspects in the high speed chase and crash that occurred in Clinton early Sunday morning.

Davis County Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Sgt. Susan Poulsen said Monday morning: “We’re just going to start processing the vehicle this week. Hopefully that will turn up some evidence that will lead us to the suspect.”

Meanwhile, law enforcement officers are on the lookout for two people driving separate stolen vehicles. They were involved in the chase that reportedly lasted 30 seconds after speeds accelerated to 100 mph before it ended.

The two-car accident involved a Sheriff’s Deputy and one stolen vehicle at the intersection of 1800 North and 2225 West just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

A recovered stolen vehicle is being “held for processing,” Poulsen said. “The other vehicle is still at large.”
