Air show brings top aerial demonstration teams

HILL AFB - This weekend, two of the three aerial demonstration teams sanctioned by the Department of Defense will perform for spectators at Hill Air Force Base.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U. S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team will be part of the day-long aerial performances both Saturday and Sunday.

Gates open at 8 a.m., a pre-show with remote control aircraft starts at 9 a.m., and the Golden Knights parachute team opens the show at 10 a.m.

The show is free to the public and includes aerobatics, hang gliders and the Red Bull Air Force jump team. Don't forget to bring ear plugs!
