October 12, 1930 - June 30, 2014

Marilyn Page Waddoups returned home to our Heavenly Father on June 30, 2014 at her home in Centerville, Utah, after a battle with cancer.   Marilyn was born to Sterling Henry Page and Martha DeMoine Sparrow in Smithfield, Utah.  Marilyn attended Preston High School in Preston, Idaho.   She married her high school sweetheart, Dell T. Waddoups in the Logan Temple on October 4, 1950.   They lived and raised their family in Logan, Idaho Falls (1956) and Layton (1962) Burley, Idaho (1964).  In 1974, they moved to Bountiful, Utah and lived for the next 40 years.  In their retirement they settled in Centerville, Utah.

Marilyn was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.    She touched us all with her sweet disposition and kindness.   She was an example of unconditional love and thoughtfulness.   We will miss her unwavering testimony of the gospel of  Jesus Christ and dedication to her many church callings.

Marilyn is survived by her husband and children, Deleene (Walt) Kondrick, Randy Waddoups, Tammy (Scott) Myers, Thad Waddoups, 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by her brother, Glenn Page (Beth) and sister JoAnn Golightly (Boyd).   Preceded in death by her son, Dell Page Waddoups, her parents, her step-father, Ray Bosworth and half-sister, Clea Taylor (LaMar).

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Centerville Rock Chapel, 436 W. Porter Lane (400 S.), Centerville, Utah.   A viewing will be held Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the church prior to services.  Interment at Preston, Idaho cemetery later that day.

A special thanks to our Dad for his years of care giving and Sylinda, Dar and Chelsea, hospice nurses and aides from Hearts for Hospice for their loving care.
