WOODS CROSS – The Davis County Sheriff’s Office reported that two people were seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover early Monday morning near Woods Cross.

According to a release from Davis County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Susan Poulsen, deputies and the South Davis Metro Fire Department received a call at 12:24 a.m.

After responding to the scene on the 500 South Frontage Road in South Davis County, they discovered a white Dodge Caliber was traveling southbound on the Frontage Road when it left the roadway and rolled multiple times, eventually through a fence.

Poulsen said it was suspected at least one of the two passengers was ejected from the vehicle.

22-year-old Paula Flores of Magna was transported by ambulance to Intermountain Medical Center, and her condition was listed as critical.

21-year-old Tyler Cotter of Salt Lake City was also transported by ambulance to Intermountain Medical Center in stable condition.

Poulsen said alcohol and speed were suspected to be factors involved in the rollover, and that an investigation was ongoing.
