LAYTON – Police asked for help from the public in identifying a man they say robbed a Layton Taco Bell a few weeks ago.

Police released a video of the June 25 incident that was caught on a surveillance camera at 11:10 p.m.

In the video, a man can be seen reaching into the drive-through window at the Taco Bell located at 1180 E. Highway 193 and taking money from the cash register.

The man was described as a Hispanic male with brown hair and eyes, approximately 6' tall, 165 lbs., between 28-35 years old.

Police say the man has a tattoo on his right hand of a cross with some cursive writing as well as a tattoo on the right side of his neck with lettering. He was last seen wearing a black thermal shirt and black beanie type hat.

Police say no employees were injured during the incident.

Anyone with information on the robbery was asked to call Layton Police Detective Rushton at (801) 497-8300.
