BOUNTIFUL – Police say two teens were caught on surveillance video burglarizing South Davis Jr. High School last month.
Bountiful Police released images taken by the surveillance cameras in hopes of identifying the boys.
Bountiful Police Sgt. Troy Killian told the Clipper that the incident happened on June 5 at around 2:00 a.m.
Killian said the boys broke a glass door to gain entrance into the building and immediately went to the office area, where they took approximately $600 in cash.
“They seemed to know where they were going,” said Killian, who noted that the boys could have been students at the school, or were very familiar with the building. He said the boys did not take anything else during the alleged burglary.
Sgt. Killian said anyone with information about the incident should call 801-298- 6016 or 6014.
