OGDEN – Thousands have already visited the remodeled LDS temple in Ogden, and thousands more are expected to tour the building before it’s rededicated next month.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints opened the temple for tours on August 1.
Due to high demand for reservations, additional tour slots were recently opened up. Church spokesman Cody Craynor told the Clipper that nearly 500,000 people have made reservations.
Anyone who wants to tour the temple can do so by making a reservation at https://templeopenhouse.lds.org/tickets.
Tours will end on September 6, and the temple will be dedicated on September 21.
The Ogden Temple originally opened in 1972, and was shut down in 2010 for remodeling.
