Editor,

This is a letter I wrote to the city of Bountiful about the city park and the new play area they put there.

It looks good, but it’s so bad for kids. I was glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks it’s bad.

Bountiful City,

I completely agree with Debra Blaidsell’s comments about the Bountiful Park that were published in the Clipper.

There are about five things for kids to play on, and none of them are meant for little kids.

Where are the swings, the jungle gyms and the climbing things? And where are the benches for the parents?

And why in the world would you put wood chips where kids can fall and get poked? They really hurt.

The “kids” park is not a place where kids can go to have fun. I can’t believe you spent so much money on this. Our money.

Please get a refund and start over with a kids’ park.

Karen Hart,

Bountiful
