WEST BOUNTIFUL – A hole in one may be rare, but not nearly as rare as a double eagle.

On Wednesday, Aug. 6, Scott Badger holed out from 206 yards to record the rare score of ‘2’ on a Par 5 hole.

Badger, golfing at Lakeside Golf Course in West Bountiful, hit a driver 270 yards and used a hybrid to cover the remaining distance at the Par 5 sixth hole, measuring 476 yards that day.

Don Bouge was a witness to the double eagle.
