FARMINGTON - “The Fair Necessities” was the theme of the four-day fair held at Legacy Events Center in Farmington last weekend.

Kids like Savanna Delgado got better acquainted with a goat at the petting zoo sponsored by Rockin’ E Country store. Others enjoying the chance to meet all kinds of farm animals.

Kenzi Miller, Lily and Aspen Brough were some of many kids who took a ride on Jenny the elephant, one of the featured animals at the fair. Fair goers had a chance to see livestock, bunnies and hens of all varieties in locations throughout the park.

Families explored the vendor booths, which included everything from pillows to to lemonades.

Bob Steele, of Texas, presented The Great Bear Show sponsored by Station Park several times each day and invited families to pose for pictures near a bear secured safely behind a Plexiglas barrier.
