Buddhists hold summer festival

LAYTON — Wat Dhammagunaram Buddhist Temple is hosting its annual Summer Food Fair Festival on Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the temple, 644 E. 1000 North.

The event is being held  as an opprtunity for people to sample Thai food and enjoy some entertainment, said Roberta Chase, a spokesperson for the temple.

Admission  is free to the public.
