LAYTON – Helping finance this year’s cheer squad activities at Northridge High is as easy as test driving a car.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. near the school’s football field, Ed Kenley Ford is holding a “Drive One 4UR School” event.

For every test drive of a brand new Ford vehicle, Ed Kenley Ford will donate $20 to the cheer leading squad, up to $7,000.

It’s an amount that will “definitely be beneficial to the students,” said Wayne Walth of Ed Kenley Ford, in a press release. “Every year, more and more arts, music and sports programs are cut due to budgetary constraints. This fundraising event is a unique way to fill some of those financial gaps.”

Northridge is located at 2430 N. 400 West in Layton.
