Davis Tech offering summer youth classes

KAYSVILLE—Summertime is a great time for learning new skills, and Davis Technical College is offering classes designed to give junior high and high school students some hands-on experience.

The class offerings also include sessions to help Scouts with merit badges in some areas. Here’s the breakdown of classes with dates, fees and more. You can register at datc.edu/summeryouth.

How to use Photoshop -- $49. July 10-20 and July 31-Aug. 11 (merit badge eligible)

Building and Programming Computers -- $49. June 12-16, June 26-30, July 10-14

Cake Decorating -- $49. Aug. 3

Coding for Teens -- $49. June 12-16, June 36-30, July 10-14

3D Print Your Own Phone Case -- $99. June 19-22, July 17-20 (merit badge)

Automate a Robot -- $49 registration, $99 for robotic arm kit. June 19-22, July 17-20 (merit badge)

Drones/Unmanned Aerial Vehicles -- $49 registration, $99 Quadcopter. June 12-15, July 10-13.
