Eleanor Isakson will be celebrating her 98th birthday on Saturday, July 8. An open house will be held in her honor at the family home, 136 W. 1900 South, Bountiful from 5 to 7 p.m. An invitation is extended to friends who would like to come and share their memories. (No gifts please.)

Eleanor is a lifelong resident of Davis County. She grew up in the cherry orchards of Kaysville and Fruit Heights along with her sisters Lavon, Marjorie, Cherrie and brother Dale. She is the daughter of Alfred Leland and Beatrice Tillotson Jost. The Rock Loft, a cornerstone in Fruit Heights history, was built by her father, Lee.

Eleanor married Art Isakson and they raised their three children,

Connie, Scott and Kristine in the home Art built for them in Bountiful. Several years after Art passed away she married Loyd Barlow and they shared many wonderful years before he also passed away.

It is with great honor that we can celebrate Eleanor’s wonderful life; and if you know her, we would love to have you come and wish her a happy, happy birthday.
