LAYTON — Destination Homes, headquartered in Layton, has hired Alexis Hawkes as a new consultant to look over homes in Weber County.
Hawkes is a graduate of Brigham Young University, earning her bachelor’s degree in 2006 and has worked in the housing industry for the last two years.

‘Critters’ store open in NSL
NORTH SALT LAKE — Coddled Critters, a boarding service business for pets, opened its doors to the public early this month.
“We have other pet services as well,” said Erin Robinson, owner. “Aside from being able to board pets, we also groom them.
“We also have roughly 4,000 square feet of space for the dogs to walk around in.”
In all, the business is 10,300 square feet in size.
The business is located at 125 N 400 West and is open every day of the week, including holidays.
