BSA opens store in Centerville

CENTERVILLE — The Great Salt Lake Council, Boy Scouts of America, announces the grand opening of a Centerville store, set for this Saturday, Aug. 1.

The newly completed store in Centerville is located inside Ace Hardware next to Dick’s Market on Pages Lane. The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Boy Scouts of America is expecting to serve over 10,000 Scouts and leaders of Davis County. The 2,000 square foot store is located at 380 E. Pages Lane.

The store will host a Pinewood Derby race on its own track. Scouts can win prizes during the race. There will also be a ribbon cutting using a Scout pocket knife.
