BOUNTIFUL — The University of Utah is offering ACT and Lifelong Learning classes at the Bountiful campus over the next three months.

The ACT preparation course begins on Tuesday, Oct. 28 and runs every Tuesday through Dec. 9 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The course is designed to help students identify their own strengths and weaknesses in taking the test as well as becoming familiar with the questions themselves. The class will take students through developing strategies to increase mathematical, English, writing, reading and science reasoning skills. General test-taking strategies will also be taught.

The course fee includes all material. For more information or to register, call 581-6984.

The winter term for the Lifelong Learning Classes begins Jan. 12 with registration running from Nov. 3 until January.

The classes offered are geared toward adults 50 years and older. The instructors are scholars and experts from the community. The courses are offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Center with campuses in Bountiful and at Fort Douglas.

For more information or to register, call 585-5442.
