The family of Alvin J. Noker announce his 80th birthday. Alvin was born October 15, 1928, in Ogden, Utah.

He married Lora Lee Marshall (deceased) in the LDS Temple. They had four children: Kari Lee, David, Marshall, and Melinda (deceased).

Alvin later married Stella Williams. Her children are Roann (deceased), Steven, Rebecca (deceased) and Penney. Together they have 36 grandchildren.

He worked as a mechanical engineer, retiring from Sperry Unisys. He has served as a bishop for the LDS Church, as well as a high councilman, a temple worker and is currently serving as a missionary at the Salt Lake Genealogy Library.

Alvin has always loved genealogy and Scouting. He received the Silver Beaver award in Scouting and recently received an honorary Eagle Scout Award.

An open house for his friends and family will be held in his honor on Monday, Oct. 27 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Eldredge Manor, 564 West 400 North, Bountiful.
