1954-2008



Christine Jolyn Probst, 54, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008, at her home in Bountiful, following a short illness.

She was born April 5, 1954, in Lehi, the daughter of Lafayette and Esther Hansen Jones. She graduated from Lehi High School. She graduated from Weber State (LPN) and later the U of U with a BS degree in nursing. She married Jeffrey Probst on July 26, 1974.##M:More##

Christine loved frequent family vacations to Disneyland, Bear Lake and many other locations. She loved people, made them feel extra special, and always had a big hug for everyone. Holidays and birthdays with Chris were wonderful. She was happiest just spending time with her husband and sons.

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey, Bountiful; sons Forrest Probst, Rush City, MN; and Grant Probst, Bountiful; mother and father in-law Lewis and Donna Probst; brother Franklin Jones, sisters Sky Morris, Juanita Pope, and Mary (Wayne) Herring. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Jones.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Lindquistís Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment Centerville City Cemetery.
