The new building will accommodate nine classrooms, two offices, a media center, library, workroom and restrooms. It will provide meeting space for the congregation and will be handicapped accessible.

The building will also include an expansion to the social center. A new and enlarged kitchen is also part of the plan.

A press release said the current education center was constructed in 1968. The church currently has about 350 students enrolled in religious education.
