DAVIS COUNTY ó The University of Utah, from both the Salt Lake City and Davis County campuses, is offering a workshop focusing on forgiveness and happiness, which became available at the first of the month. ##M:MORE##

Students decided, as part of their service-learning project, to provide workshops on forgiveness, anger reduction, enhancing happiness and life satisfaction. Last month, the educational psychology department unveiled a line-up of online courses that offer training in positive psychology, which is the study of happiness.

Free workshops will be offered in mid-November and mid-April. Those interested will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be about 10 workshops held each semester.

Six different online courses are offered in the department, including coping with difficult people, positive psychology and emotional well-being, quality intimate relationships, forgiveness and anger reduction, enhancing happiness and life satisfaction, as well as achieving peace after divorce.

For those interested in a 50-minute presentation on enhancing happiness and a 75-minute presentation on forgiveness and anger reduction as well as organization is a nonprofit or government agency, please contact J.G. Farr at 801-424-3283. Or visit http://uonlineutah.edu.
