Donít squander your precious vote based on the convention hoopla. Does either leading party honestly represent what you really believe?
Maybe ìthirdî parties better represent your beliefs. Did you see the Constitution Party in Kansas City or the Green Party Convention in Chicago? Was the Libertarian Party Convention in Denver given the similar TV and news media coverage as was the royal coronation ceremony in Denver? Why not?
Voting for any Republican or Democrat nominee, without researching whether they represent your values and the principles of the U.S. Constitution, will be wasting your vote. You may puff your chest in false pride and say, ìI voted for the winnerî; but you will have squandered your vote.
Politics has been taken over by one powerful group, The ìBig Governmentî group which has dishonestly divided itself into two arms called the Democratic and Republican Parties. By pretending to be two different entities, Big Government has found it can fool enough of the people most of the time. By promising lazy people that government will do something for them that they are incapable of doing for themselves, these two parties alternate control and the people get the same results . . . more Big Government and less liberty.
The ever more gaudy ìmajorî conventions serve primarily to mesmerize party adherents by bashing the opposing party and foolishly making promises which can never be fulfilled. Convention speakers should be sworn to the truth and then be held accountable for their mumbo-jumbo. It they were, most would be jailed for lying.
The ìmajorî party conventions are a lot of hot air, pomp, circumstance and horsefeathers calculated to lull us to sleep. Then, as we slumber, the special interests of Big Government backers are fulfilled.
And, we their subjects foolishly dream on of a falsely promised Utopia and a false messianic salvation which will never be delivered.
