SALT LAKE CITY ó The Governorís Office of Economic Development (GOED), the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and the Utah Department of Veterans Affairs will sponsor the first ever business conference for veterans and service disabled business owners. ##M:MORE##

The business conference will be held at the Red Lion Hotel in Salt Lake City today. It is expected that many Davis County business owners will be in attendance.

ìThis is a great opportunity for the state to continue its support for service disabled veterans and their business endeavors,î said Terry Schow, executive director for the Utah State Department of Veterans Affairs. ìUnder Gov. Huntsmanís direction, we continue to support our veterans while creating opportunities for Utah small businesses to prosper.î
