FARMINGTON ó William Duffy, the man accused of stabbing himself after he allegedly robbed a bank, has been released from the hospital and booked into the Davis County Jail. ##M:MORE##

Duffy was booked into jail late Monday on a federal arrest warrant issued earlier Monday, charging him with bank robbery. Duffy is being held in the medical unit at the jail with no bail.

The 51-year-old man is accused of robbing Zions Bank, 5 N. Main, Bountiful on July 11. A police officer spotted Duffyís car and pulled him over in the J&L Garden Center parking lot, where police say Duffy repeatedly stabbed himself in the chest with a knife before police could intervene. He was taken by air ambulance to the University of Utah Medical Center.
