WOODS CROSS — After the Advance Placement test results at Woods Cross High School came back, 82 students earned scholar awards for their scores and achievement.

According to the College Board, only 18 percent of students world-wide perform well enough to earn an AP Scholar Award. The tests themselves are graded on a five-point scale, and grades of four or higher on eight or more of the exams earn the National AP Scholar Award, which went to Bengjamin D. Eschler from Woods Cross High School.

Nineteen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award and 53 for the AP Scholar.
