1. Legislative ethics reform. We need campaign donation limits, requirements for correct reporting with restrictions on amendments, and a much better way to handle ethics complaints. The present system requires legislators to be investigators, prosecutors, and jury. Ethics reform will keep honest people honest.
2. Conservative budgeting during these economically difficult times.
3. Even with uncertain state revenues, we need to do all we can to support public and higher education. This is still the foundation of Utah's economic development.
