Glendon W. Madsen, age 90, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008, at home under hospice care.

He was born on September 24, 1918, Mammoth, Utah to Hyrum and Elsie Madsen.

Glen served in World War II 1944 until 1946, in the Army Field Artillery. He served in Germany where he saw a lot of action.

Glen married Betty Bosh on September 11, 1943. Worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years. He was an avid golfer and loved to be in the outdoors.

Survivors include Glen’s wife, Betty; children: Patricia Ferguson; Brent and Margie Madsen; Janet Carter; Brian and Cindy Madsen; and Diana and Doug Phillips; 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; and sister, Norma Dee Walker.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the Val Verda Stake Center, 2600 South 500 West, Bountiful. A viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1640 E. Lakeview Drive.
