Layton Fire plans big open house for Prevention Week

LAYTON — Fire Prevention Week is starting early and in a big way in Layton. It’s planned for Wednesday, Sept. 30, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

An Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held at the main station, 530 North 2200 West. More than 25 exhibits on a variety of related topics are planned. Open house parking will be at Ellison Elementary School with a free shuttle provided.
