My streak of perfection ended thanks to Viewmont stopping Davis last week. Let’s see if I can get back on track.

Bountiful 16

Highland 14

This could be for the Region 6 title depending on what happens with Woods Cross. This is the last team to beat the Braves. It happened in a thrilling down-to-the wire state play-off game last season. Highland is a massive team with good speed and they have the tools to beat Bountiful. But when you’re undefeated and playing at home, you get the nod.

Viewmont 21

Fremont 7

A lot here will depend on how the Vikings react after their emotional win over Davis last week. They have had 10 days to enjoy and refocus so I suspect they will be fine. Fremont is always big and while they are not having the best year in school’s history expect a physical contest.

Woods Cross 32

Tooele 7

I understand what WX coach Freddie Fernandes says about Tooele’s fine coaching staff, but let’s face it the coaches don’t play the game. Unless Woods Cross has a sudden case of lost direction on the field, I expect a big-time blowout to set up the season finale with Highland. To say the next two weeks are two of the biggest in recent Woods Cross football history would be a serious understatement.
