Two South Davis skaters are competing among the nation’s elite

Two high level skaters from south Davis County are taking part in the Pacific Coast Sectional Figure Skating Championships in Jackson Hole, Wyo., this week, with Kristina Struthwolf in Senior Ladies and Rachel White (right) in Junior Ladies competition. Both qualified for this event by placing among the top four at the Central Pacific Regional Figure Skating Championships. This week’s competition will feature approximately 150 competitors from 11 states. The top skaters qualifying at this sectional event will move on to the 2010 National Championships in Spokane, Wash., in January 2010.
