SERVICE CLUB STUDENTS from Woods Cross, Viewmont and Bountiful High Schools manned the stations as community members drove by to drop off food and money at Bountiful High School for the Bountiful Food Pantry.
KAYSVILLE — A South Davis County community food drive, hosted by Bountiful High School, resulted in 22,732 lbs. of food being collected for the Bountiful Food Pantry.

Bountiful High School teamed up with Viewmont and Woods Cross High School, along with over a dozen other schools and businesses to donate the food. Students from service clubs such as Interact, the PTSA and more donated their time, food and cash during the first weekend of November to help get food to the Bountiful Food Pantry.

Students were involved from each high school and stood by as community members and other students brought food and money. Bountiful, Woods Cross and Viewmont High Schools each had students collecting food.

Aside from the food collected, students and community members also raised close to $2,000 while Jiffy Lube matched food and money donations.
