The Saturday clinic will be held at Layton Hills Mall center court from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
Health department officials warn that the virus is still in the community. They encourage everyone to receive the free vaccine, saying it’s the best way to prevent getting the virus.
Regular clinics are held Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Bountiful/Woods Cross Immunization Clinic, 596 W. 750 South, in Woods Cross.
On Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. H1N1 immunization are offered at the Clearfield Immunization Clinic, 140 East Center Street (2nd floor of Heritage Senior Activity Center), Clearfield.
No appointments are needed at either site.
Those receiving the vaccination are asked to wear a short-sleeved shirt to speed the process along.
The seasonal flu vaccine is also available to the general public at the Davis County Health Department’s immunization clinics in Clearfield and Woods Cross, at the cost of $20.
Health officials remind parents that the second dose of the H1N1 vaccine is due for children 6 months to under 10 years of age who were first vaccinated at least 28 days prior.
