Women 60 years of age or older from Davis County and all across the state are invited to participate in the pageant, which is not a beauty contest. The focus is on the best expressions of health, wellness, and vitality. Entries are due by April 15.
The pageant will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at Woods Cross High School. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for a mini expo and silent auction.
“I am passionate about my belief that these precious years we have right now are meant to be productive,” said Lorien Lundgreen of South Jordan, past royalty.
Pageant participants are expected to have developed a philosophy of life, which they will share with a judges panel. There will also be a talent show, a formal gown walk, and a final interview.
“We are so blessed to have the time to increase our talents, pursue new interests, to do something really great with our lives, and make the world a better place,” said Lundgreen.
