Jacob is the son of Dan and Connie Larrabee and brother to MJ and Benjamin. For his Eagle project Jake prepared child safety packets for all the neighbors in his area. Jake and his troop prepared information about each child that included personal information, photos and even a DNA sample. It also included information on how to respond if your child has been abducted.
He attended Wood Badge training in April and was proud to be a “Beaver.” Jake loved camping and hiking with his troop and was always trying to entertain the scouts with his screwball antics. If you happened to see a tall, skinny kid wearing a Scout shirt with red and white striped overalls, that was Jake on his way to camp. He loves being a Scout.
Jake is graduating from East Hollywood H.S. this June and is preparing to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints next spring. Thank you to all of his leaders over the years who have helped him on this journey and also a special thanks to his dad, Eric Thorne and his Bishop, Blaine Hill, who have been a great inspiration and example to him.
