Holidays at Centerville Jr.
CENTERVILLE — The Centerville Junior High music department will host two holiday concerts today. At 5:30 p.m. the beginning band, intermediate band, string orchestra and eighth-grade choir will perform. VHS to donate hair to Locks
BOUNTIFUL — Viewmont High School students will be cutting their hair and shaving their heads today and tomorrow to raise money for underprivileged students at Guadalupe Elementary School. On Tuesday, girls will volunteer to cut their hair and donate it to Locks of Love. On Wednesday, boys will volunteer to have their heads shaved for the cause. Both events will take place at noon. East Layton presents store
LAYTON — East Layton Elementary will be holding its annual “Christmas Shopping Store” from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The media center is transformed into a Christmas store where students with special needs can shop for their families. Each student has a personal shopper and volunteers are on hand to help wrap the gifts for students to take home to families.
